Introduction
- A system is defined by the World Health Organisation as: “all organisations, people and actions whose primary intent is to promote, restore or maintain health, whose purpose is to improve health and health equity in ways that are responsive, financially fair and make the best use of available resources”.
- This module explores how the “whole system” concepts of purpose, values, leadership and learning come together to support integrated care based on pathways delivered by teams constantly striving for improvement based on measures that matter.
