The programme will cover essential aspects for early intervention for psychosis in children and adolescents, including diagnostic criteria and epidemiology, comorbidity and prognosis. From an intervention perspective, both pharmacological management and psychosocial interventions will be discussed.
Prevention of psychosis and Clinical high risk for psychosis paradigm will also be discussed among other special populations.
Delegates will have the opportunity to present clinical scenarios from their caseload throughout the day.
This masterclass will be delivered by two clinical academics from the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry Psychology and Neuroscience King’s College London, specialized in psychosis.
